Rascals & Mutts was founded by Josh Little and Lauren Park.

We met in Sydney in 2015 and quickly realised we spent most of our free time in parks hoping strangers would let us pat their dogs. We must have looked a wee bit strange.

That passion turned into a career. We began boarding dogs in Sydney before moving to Toronto in 2016, where we set up Downtown Dog Walkers and ran it for two years. The winters were brutal but the dogs made it worthwhile.

In 2018 we moved to Edinburgh (where Josh is from) and Rascals & Mutts was born.

We were lucky enough to build a wonderful community of clients and dogs, and spent two years out in the Scottish hills every day. Even when it was raining. Which was most of the time.

After a tough goodbye we made the move back to Australia, where Lauren has stepped back from the business but still loves having dogs to stay.

We also have our own dog now. Her name is Ginger, she’s the face of the company — literally, she’s the logo — and you’ll find her out with us every single day.
