​Rascals and mutts was founded by me, Josh Little, and my wife, Lauren Park.

I met Lauren in 2015 while living in her home city of Sydney, Australia.

We knew we wanted careers working with dogs as we spent most of our time hanging out in parks hoping to pat dogs.

We must have looked a wee bit strange!

We used to regularly board dogs in Sydney before we packed up and made the big move to Toronto, Canada in 2016.

It was there that we set up a dog walking company called Downtown Dog Walkers.

We ran that for 2 years and absolutely loved it. The winters were rough but the dogs made it worthwhile.

We then moved to Edinburgh, Scotland (where I’m from) and we set up Rascals & Mutts.

We were very fortunate to gain some amazing clients and dogs

We had the pleasure of working with them for 2 years and felt very privileged to be out in the beautiful Scottish nature every day, even if it was raining 99% of the time!

It was very tough to say goodbye to them all when we left for Australia.

Since coming back to Australia, Lauren has taken a back seat and is now working in a different industry but still loves having the dogs over to stay. 

We also have our own dog now! Her name is Ginger and she is the face of the company, literally (she’s the logo). So you’ll always see her out with us every day.
